Marktgemeinde Zell am Ziller
Zell am Ziller is a market town in the Zillertal valley in the district of Schwaz in Tyrol in Austria. The municipality is located in the judicial district of Zell am Ziller. Zell is located in the rear Zillertal in a valley basin, on the right side of the Ziller.

Regular events
Gauderfest: Every year in Zell, in the days before the first Sunday of May, the "Gauderfest" takes place, which is one of the oldest folk festivals in Tyrol.
Other attractions include a parade with floats, bands and traditional costume groups, as well as Ranggeln, a form of wrestling. Animal fighting was removed from the program after protests from animal rights activists. Was recognized by UNESCO in 2014 as Intangible Cultural Heritage in Austria.
