Brandberg is a municipality with 369 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2022) in the Zillertal Valley and belongs to the district of Schwaz in Tyrol (Austria). The municipality is located in the judicial district of Zell am Ziller.Brandberg is located in the Zillergrund, a side valley of the rear Zillertal, which branches off near Mayrhofen and is flowed through by the Ziller. The municipal area takes up almost the entire Zillergrund and extends to the border with South Tyrol (Italy).
