Strassen is a municipality in the district of Lienz (East Tyrol) in the Austrian state of Tyrol (Austria). The municipality is located in the judicial district of Lienz. Strassen lies in the Pustertal valley on the alluvial cone of the Thurnbach stream, which flows into the Drava river. The municipal area is formed by several hamlets, which are all located north of the Drava.
