Schattendorf is a market town in the district of Mattersburg in Burgenland, Austria. The municipality is part of the Rosalia-Kogelberg Nature Park. The municipality of Schattendorf is located on the border with Hungary, west of the Hungarian city of Sopron. Schattendorf is the only village in the municipality.
