Rechnitz (Hungarian Rohonc, Croatian Rohunac, Romani Rochonca) is a market town in the district of Oberwart in Burgenland in Austria. The market town of Rechnitz is located on the southern slope of the Günser Mountains at the foot of the 884 m high Geschriebenstein.

In the village there is a Rechnitz bathing reservoir created by damming the Rechnitz Creek and a go-cart track. The Geschriebenstein-Írottk? Nature Park is a popular recreational area with its hiking and excursion possibilities. The area to the south of Rechnitz is advertised under the name Weinidylle Südburgenland.
