Burgauberg-Neudauberg (Hungarian Burgóhegy-Magashegy) is a municipality with 1,327 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2022) in the district of Güssing in Burgenland in Austria.
The municipality is located in southern Burgenland. The settlement of the villages of Burgauberg and Neudauberg as well as some other places in the surrounding area took place from the neighboring Styrian
from the neighboring Styrian villages.
Culture and sights
The Warte, a viewing platform, was opened in 2004. It offers a view over the Lafnitz Valley Ramsar site and the Güssing hills - from here, one fifth of the area of Austria (the entire southern
of Austria (the entire south-east) can be seen from here. The lookout point is also a reminder of the Kuruc uprisings and the Turkish wars.
