Neuberg an der Mürz is a market town in the political district of Bruck-Mürzzuschlag and the judicial district of Mürzzuschlag in Styria.

With 1 January 2015, the market town of Neuberg an der Mürz was formed within the framework of the Styrian municipal structural reform with the municipalities of Altenberg an der Rax, Kapellen, Mürzsteg, and Neuberg.Neuberg is located in the Upper Mürztal and at the foot of the Schneealpe northwest of Mürzzuschlag.
