Gemeinde Fiss
Fiss is a municipality with 1053 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2022) in the district of Landeck in the state of Tyrol (Austria) in the upper Tyrolean Inn Valley, also known as Tyrolean Oberland.
According to the municipality, there are 945 registered main residences, of which 488 are male and 457 are female (as of November 22, 2017).Fiss is located on the sunny terrace about 500 m above the Upper Inn Valley, on a flat, south-facing slope.

The Blochziehen in Fiss is an old carnival custom. The custom is listed on the Austrian List of Intangible Cultural Heritage (National Cultural Property) by UNESCO.
