Gemeinde Kleblach-Lind

Kleblach-Lind is a municipality in the district of Spittal an der Drau in Carinthia. The municipal area of Kleblach-Lind is located at the eastern end of the upper Drau Valley, about 10 km as the crow flies from the district capital Spittal an der Drau. The two largest and namesake villages are separated by the Drau River. 

Culture and sights

    Castle ruins Oberlind and Unterlind
    The parish church of St. Bartholomew on the southern outskirts of Lind is a wall-pillared church with a Gothic layout and a late Baroque western section. Lind was founded around 1139 and was mentioned in a document as a parish in 1242.
    The Maria Hilf Chapel, originally a Gothic building, now Baroqueized, was consecrated in 1347 and served as the chapel of Unterlind Castle.
    The Hubertus Chapel in Siflitz is an open path chapel with an image of St. Hubert. It was built in 1979.
