Wörgl is a town in the Inn Valley in the district of Kufstein in Tyrol, located about 55 kilometers (as the crow flies) east of the provincial capital Innsbruck. Wörgl was first mentioned in documents with the name "Uuergile" in 1104/1116, but there was already a settlement in this area in Roman times.
