Very close to the town of Bischofshofen, but so quiet that you and your whole family can really relax, stands our detached farm. Enjoy nature and reach all important destinations without any effort.

Our farmhouse is open all year round and offers you the necessary comfort with family connections in summer and winter.

Our child-friendly farm, in winter with toboggan run directly on our slope next to the house and in summer playground and with our "petting zoo"; numerous animals to love, watch and play with.

Bischofshofen

The town of Bischofshofen is one of the oldest places of settlement in the Pongau. Excavations on the Götschenberg provide evidence of human habitation and copper mining as far back as 5,000 years ago. In the 8th century, Bischofshofen was first chronicled within the context of the founding of the Maximilianszelle monastery.

There are numerous old structures to visit for example the Kastenturm, the Frauenkirche Church or the Missionshaus St. Rupert. Just a few minutes' walk from the center of town, we also find Gainfeld Waterfall natural monument. Surrounded by pleasant mixed forest, the waters of the Gainfeldbach drop some fifty meters, with the rock below having been mysteriously washed away into the shape of a bowl. For many centuries, the area flanking the waterfall has been attributed with healing powers, especially for those dealing with respiratory complaints. Furthermore, world-famous from the annual finale of the International Four Hills Tournament, there is the Sepp (Buwi) Bradl Stadium, with a total of 3 jumping hills, which is a popular excursion destination.

Paul-Außerleitner ski jump

Skiing: Bischofshofen is internationally known as the venue of the Four Hills Tournament. Every year on Epiphany Day, the Paul Ausserleitner Ski Jump hosts the final jump of this series of events. The large hill is now also suitable for night and summer use and is currently the largest mat hill in the world. In 1999, the large hill competitions were held here as part of the Nordic World Ski Championships.

Soccer: The soccer department of the Bischofshofen sports club, along with Austria Salzburg and SAK 1914, was one of the three strongest and most successful clubs in the province of Salzburg for over three decades. The greatest successes of the nine-time Salzburg state champions include participation in the National League in the 1970/71 season and reaching the ÖFB Cup quarterfinals in 1965.
