Culture and sights

Catholic Parish Church of the Assumption of Mary: The Church of Our Lady, a three-nave relay church, was built between 1498 and 1507. The church's magnificent Baroque altar, considered to be the most outstanding work of the painter Josef Andrä Eisl and the sculptor Paul Mödlhammer, is the centerpiece of the church. The center of the high altar is a Gothic depiction of a Madonna enthroned, the image of the Mother of Grace from around 1500. The pulpit and the side altars date from the first half of the 18th century.
