Kirchbichl is a municipality with 5940 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2022) in the district of Kufstein, Tyrol (Austria). The municipality is located in the judicial district of Kufstein. Kirchbichl is located in the Lower Inn Valley northeast of Wörgl. The border in the west is the Inn River, in the south the Brixentaler Ache River.
Culture and sights
Parish Church Kirchbichl: The Gothic church building was heavily modified and baroqueized by the master builder Jakob Singer from 1733 to 1735. The church is surrounded by the former cemetery wall with niches for the Stations of the Cross.
Regular events
Annually in summer the Kirchbichl Triathlon takes place and in 2017 this sports event was held for the 32nd time.
