Pöchlarn is a municipality with 3958 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2022) in the district of Melk in Lower Austria (Austria). Pöchlarn is located in the Mostviertel, on the right (southern) bank of the Danube directly at the mouth of the Erlauf, in the Nibelungengau, and is also called the Nibelungenstadt.
