Tarrenz (dialect Tårrez) is a municipality in the district of Imst (Gerichtsbezirk Imst) of the Austrian state of Tyrol (Austria). It is an agricultural (with a focus on sheep farming) and commuter community.

Sinnesbrunn pilgrimage chapel Our Lady
An open-air mining museum, the Knappenwelt Gurgltal, shows the life of miners in the 16th century and the processing of ore. In 2013, an exhibition was opened about the discovery of the tomb of a healer - the Healer of Gurgltal, who lived in the 17th century.
The carnival in the witch village Tarrenz has an important place in the calendar of events every four years. The next carnival will take place in 2025.
Another highlight in village life was the Gassenfest.
