Gemeinde Kössen
Kössen (in the Bavarian and Tyrolean local dialect: Kessn) is a municipality with 4455 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2022) in the Leukental valley in the district of Kitzbühel in Tyrol (Austria) and the main town of the same name. The municipality is located in the judicial district of Kitzbühel. Together with the villages of Walchsee, Schwendt and Rettenschöss, Kössen forms the Kaiserwinkl tourism region.
