Ischgl is a municipality in Tyrol (Austria) with 1578 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2022). The municipality is located in the judicial district of Landeck on the border with Switzerland.

Situated at an altitude of almost 1400 meters in Paznaun, the village is known for its ski resort Silvretta Arena with 238 kilometers of slopes and 45 lifts, which is connected with the Swiss municipality of Samnaun.

Top of the Mountain Concert: Three large pop concerts, along with other events, are fixed points of each winter season: international stars of the music industry take to the stage in Ischgl at the opening as well as at Easter and the season finale as part of the Top of the Mountain Concerts (at the Top of the Mountain Concert season opening, the Top of the Mountain Easter Concert (at Easter) and the Top of the Mountain Concert season finale).

The Ischgl Ironbike is the highest endowed mountain bike marathon race in Europe. It is held annually in August. The Ironbike is held on three routes of different lengths, with the longest route (79 km / 3820 Hm) being considered one of the most demanding marathon races.
