Our apartment is located only about 3 minutes walk from the village, in a sunny quiet hillside location.

Enjoy your most beautiful time of the year in our newly built vacation apartment with much love and taste.

Ideal starting point for skiing, cross-country skiing, hiking, etc.

The free ski and hiking bus starts only 3 minutes walk from our house and takes you to the Hochkönigs Berg- und Winterreich.

If you want to have a nice dinner in the evening, you can choose from numerous restaurants in our village.

If you wish, we can provide you with fresh bread rolls from the bakery every day.

Our house is the ideal starting point for skiing, cross-country skiing, walking, wanderings etc. The free ski and Wanderbus is only 3 walking minutes from our house, that takes you to the Hochkönig mountain and Winter Empire.

If you like to go out in the evening, numerous local restaurant are available to you in our village. If requested we provide for you daily fresh bread rolls from the bakery. We look forward to personnaly greeting you.

In the heart of the Salzburg land, approx 50 km to the south of Salzburg, lies the recreational village of Mühlbach, with the splendid panorama of Hochkönig mountain. Mühlbach distinguishes itself above all by its old mining tradition and hearty hospitality. More than 60 km of marked footpaths leads you up to the summit of the Hochkönig where you can enjoy fantastic views. Sporty vacationers can enjoy tennis, Paragliding, mountaineering, walking, climbing and a lot more. A special child program and a small petting zoo is on offer for the kids.

Experience fantastic winter's days in one of the nicest skiing areas of the Alpine republic:   260 ski lifts on about 800 kms very well preserved runways!

Mühlbach in the Hochkönig is rich in traditions, culture and history, and the ideal holiday destination for Young and Old.

Mühlbach am Hochkönig is a municipality in the province of Salzburg in the district of St. Johann im Pongau in Austria.

In 2004, a wooden monument was erected by the Gamsjäger brothers on the Karbachalm, at the focal point of the Salzburg area. In two tree trunks 118 "windows" were cut into the wood, in which the coats of arms of the municipalities can be attached.
In the mining and local history museum with an adventure exhibition gallery, evidence of the 5000 year old mining history is presented, which had a lasting influence on Mühlbach until 1976.
The mountain shoe at Dientner Sattel is located at 1,400 meters.
Bergkapelle Mühlbach am Hochkönig: As in all villages, music enthusiasts met very early in Mühlbach am Hochkönig and played music spontaneously in private parlors or in individual inns. Large festivities such as weddings and church celebrations were accompanied. The children already came into contact with the regional song potential in many families and later expanded their knowledge in the music lessons of the school founded in 1862. The Bergkapelle Mühlbach has a well-kept, extensive chronicle in which it can be read that rehearsals were held in the parlor of the Proneben farmer, Rupert Deutinger, as early as the turn of the century. Rupert Deutinger was also the first leader of a peasant music or Knappenmusik, which existed since 1908.
In summer, there are 140 km of marked hiking trails, 15 catered alpine huts, four tennis courts, an outdoor swimming pool, a paragliding school, playgrounds, petting zoos and the Schweizerhütte alpine dairy at the Arthurhaus.
