Gschwendtobel bridge: Alois Negrelli (planned the Suez Canal) constructed the wooden bridge between Egg and Lingenau in 1834. This covered wooden bridge with a sixfold reinforced hanging truss over the Subersach is still today, despite its old age, a masterpiece of engineering and carpentry. It was the first suspension bridge to be self-supporting by means of an explosive structure.
Suspension bridge between Lingenau and Egg: This wire bridge (suspension bridge) was for a long time the only connection between Lingenau and Egg or Vorder- and Mittelbregenzerwald. It is 57 meters long and lies about 15 meters above the water level of the Subersach. The bridge was built in 1901 and today the footbridge is only used as a hiking trail
