Krieglach with its approximately 5,200 inhabitants is located in the center of the Waldheimat and has an area of 94 km². The community leadership has been active for years in the areas of economy, housing, tourism, environment, sports, leisure, social or cultural activities. In summer, the most popular meeting places for young and old are the youth and family recreation area, as well as the water and nature adventure land. The newly designed Rosegger Park in the center of Krieglach is the ideal starting point for hikes. Marked hiking trails, cycling and mountain biking routes are available to guests as well as the local population. The promotion and support of our numerous associations is of particular importance for the community life in our village.
