Semmering is a municipality in the district of Neunkirchen, on the southern border of Lower Austria with Styria (Austria) with 514 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2022). The main town Semmering-Kurort is a high altitude health resort and tourist resort. 

Culture and sights
The "centerpiece" of the Semmering Railway, opened in 1854 - the viaducts and tunnels in the Adlitzgraben and the "20 Schilling View", respectively.
