Untertauern is a municipality in the district of St. Johann im Pongau in Salzburger Land in Austria. The municipality is located in Pongau in the province of Salzburg on the north side of the Radstädter Tauernpass, in the valley of the Pongauer Taurach and consists of the only cadastral municipality Untertauern.
