Gemeinde Inzing

Inzing is a municipality with 3994 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2022) in the district of Innsbruck-Land in Tyrol (Austria). The municipality is a member of the Climate Alliance Tyrol and is located in the judicial district of Telfs.Inzing is located in the Inn Valley between Innsbruck or Zirl in the east and Telfs or Hatting in the west. To the south of the village rises the Rangger Köpfl, to the north the Zirler Berg.

Sports
Soccer field Inzing

Inzing has a lively club life. The two main clubs are the Allgemeine Sportverein Inzing (ASVI) with the sections athletics, cycling and skiing and the Sportunion Inzing with the sections ladies gymnastics, stick sports, hang- and paragliding, soccer, tobogganing, tennis, table tennis and volleyball.

In addition to these two clubs, there is also the Ringsportclub Inzing (RSCI), the Billardclub Inzing and the Modellbauclub Inzing - MBCI (model flying sports) as independent clubs. In the sports volleyball, wrestling and billiards Inzing is represented supra-regionally. The section inzingvolley of the SU plays in the second Austrian national league ladies. The Ring-Sport-Club Inzing (RSCI) fights in the first Austrian league.

In addition, Inzing has a natural luge track (Ginzes-Eben) and was the venue of the natural track luge world championship in 1979.
